Perhaps they've managed to replicate the technology being used by China's Broad Group. It'll be interesting to see how the prefab industry grows in India, and whether India will innovate its own improvements in this field.

Here is my daughter and son-in-law's new poopie, Roux. It is such fun watching them loving this dog. They just got their first house, you know. Nesting so sweetly. Ah, I remember those days. Except there were already four kids, one of mine and three of his, and the quiet nesting never happened. Well, now it is. I am happily nested here with the Pickle and the Punkin, and no one to ask "what's for dinner" or "where are you going" and "when will you get back". Just the little yellow house, with its resident mice scurrying around in the night time, and furry barking machines, currently on their daily patrol of the fence in the backyard. I think a cup of candy cane tea is in order. Yes.

december mayhem...and a winner.
So I was all about FINALLY doing my Christmas Traditions post that the fabulous Lanaya tagged me in oh, about two weeks ago now. I know. I'm a bad bloggy friend. And the sad thing is...I really really want to write that post and share it with you all! And tag some of you lovers!
But so far it has yet to fit into my overloaded holiday decorating/baking/cleaning/wrapping/last-minute shopping and trying to reply to all emails and comments on the blog because I'm OCD schedule. Throw in a toddler running all over the house and un-decorating the tree and I've got a new name for the month of December: Mayhem.
Did I mention I'm pretty much exhausted lately? There goes the late night blogging :( But don't fret...I swear I WILL post that thing this week! Even if it calls for an all-nighter with my best friend the Keurig.
Really. I think I have a problem with taking on too much to do at once.
And trying to fit in all the things we usually do during Christmas.
Like my list for this week. The two biggies: wrap those gifts and send those cards.
Can I have a robot to do these things for me, please?
And mind you, we're traveling to PA this weekend for Christmas with my family. Oy.
I've wondered sometimes...can we ever manage to have a holiday season that does NOT feel like we're rushing around trying to get everything done in such a short time? It makes this wonderful time pass by so fast...and then it's over.
We think about the Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas for about a day {sigh}.
And everyone is still stressed.
No matter how hard I try...getting the shopping done early, playing Christmas music, having the decorations up...it still just doesn't feel like Christmas time used to when I was a kid. Should it? I don't know, I'm guessing not, but I wish it would.
How do YOU manage everything on your list during the holidays?
I'm pretty much a goner for this year... but for future attempts at keeping my sanity, I'd love to know any and all strategies. I'll love you forever.
Oh!! See? Almost forgot to announce the Holiday Hustle Giveaway winners!

wordless wednesday...santa is scary!
We took our little nugget girl to see Santa last weekend, for the annual "Breakfast with Santa" outing.
She was only two months old last year and slept through the Santa Experience so Hubs and I were excited to see her reaction to the big man in red this year.
I wasn't too worried about her being afraid of Santa, because she literally isn't phased by anyone. She waves to strangers in the grocery store, says hi everyone when we're at the mall, lets anyone who opens their arms hold her. So I thought...this is gonna be great. Like Christmas card great. Had the camera all charged and ready.
Needless to say, Mommy was wrong. She took one look at Santa and all bets were off.
Here's Daddy attempting {unsuccessfully} to convince her that she doesn't need to be scared.
Don't you just love his faces? These might just show up on one of those "Family Holiday Photos Gone Wrong" emails. Haha. Classic.
This family shot didn't turn out too bad!
The whole gang. That's Hubs' sister, her husband, and their three boys.
Baby girl's one cousin {he's two-and-a-half} wasn't too fond of Santa either!
Okay, so if you took your kids to see Santa yet, how did they react? Just wondering if I'll have another scaredy-girl on my hands come next year :)

on my mind...giving.
Welcome to Week #5 of the On My Mind blog hop series!
You guys shared some seriously fab posts last week. I can't wait to read about what's taking over your hearts {or possibly your lives} this time around :)
----------
For me, this week is about something that's been growing in my heart since the holiday season began.
Giving.
Now, I absolutely LOVE giving gifts to others for Christmas. Family, friends, and of course this year I practically want to buy every toy under the sun for S just to see the look on her face when she dives into the wrapping paper. But with all of my holiday shopping done {thank you, Black Friday and the internet} and that dang thing called a budget looming over my head, my holiday shopping is over.
Or...is it? It didn't have to be over, right? Because I was forgetting about one really important part of Christmas...buying gifts for those who otherwise wouldn't be getting anything.
My first though was, could our measly budget sustain the extra spending? Then I smacked myself {literally} for being so selfish. Come on. We're not poor. We're not living paycheck to paycheck. We're not unemployed. We can afford higher expenses for one month out of the year if it means that we'll be putting smiles on a family's faces.
On little children's faces.
Which brings me to my exciting news...

The lovely Amanda, who blogs at Life, Experience Needed, was looking for co-hosts to help her with an awesome event she was planning, Cans For Comments. {Read about the event, and how to participate, HERE.}
Cans For Comments is a fundraiser to help support our local food banks during the high-need holiday and winter season. My job as a co-host is to donate specific items based on how many comments and/or new followers I receive during the event's run time.
So here's what I came up with. Cans For Comments will run from December 7-15.
{Comments and/or new follows MUST be within this time frame to count toward my donation.}
----------
For every 5 comments I will donate one can of food.
For every 20 comments, I will donate one toy or clothing item.
For every 5 new followers {can be via GFC, Bloglovin', Facebook, or Twitter} I will donate $1.
*Please leave me a comment letting me know if you are a new follower and how you are following.*
All cans of food will be donated to my local food bank and all toys will be donated to Toys For Tots or to my church's Angel Tree program {each star on the tree has a toy/clothing item listed for a specific child in need & we choose several stars to buy for}. All money raised will be donated to my local animal shelter, Pets Alive. {Because animals need warm beds and food too!}
----------
Pretty cool, huh? I'm SUPER excited to get this event up and running. And to see how many cans of food, dollars, and toys you all can help me raise for families and children in need this Christmas.
We'd also like to challenge YOU to participate! Even if it's only for one day during the event. You can set your own goal at whatever you'd like {cans, money, toys, your choice}. They'll be a link up open after the event is over, so you can come back and join us! Remember, it benefits YOUR local community :)
We only ask that if you decide to participate, you grab our button and help us spread the word.

Say hello to the other co-hosts for Cans For Comments!
