Awkward
>>Me attempting to shovel snow off of our driveway yesterday. I proudly declare that I did so successfully, but it wasn't a very pretty sight. I can only imagine what my neighbors must have thought as they drove by, watching all five feet three inches of me fight with three inches of snow. In the rain. Wearing nothing that was even remotely waterproof. Me: At least I have a good shovel! And I'm getting a workout! Neighbors: They need to get a snowblower.
>>My current obsession with Dance Moms. I love that show. Can't wait for Wednesday morning to watch it on the DVR. Secretly wishing I could be as talented and fit as those ten year olds. Even though I was a soccer player and definitely NOT a dancer. Although I did try my hand at gymnastics and acrobatics for four years. (And thought I could be in the Olympics). Which is on another whole level of awkwardness.

Awesome
>>My daughter. She creates some kind of awesome every day, multiple times a day. Right now, I am amazed at how she's learning that if she wants something, she can reach out her hand to touch or grab it. She also is starting to diversify her babbling skills. I'm guessing every mother thinks their baby is going to be a genius, right?
>>Leggings. Ever since I started wearing them when I was pregnant, I can't get enough. Especially with flats and long tops that hide my post-baby pooch. You see, I've never had a flabby stomach before.
>>The fact that I'm still using my circa 2007 Dell laptop. Hasn't failed me yet. No, it doesn't have Windows 7 and no, it doesn't have a camera built into it (or anything else, for that matter). But it does have well over a thousand pictures stored on it of our family and helps me run a pretty hot household budget.
>>Pumpkin spice cookies made from a box of spice cake mix and a can of pumpkin. Topped with fluffy white whipped icing. I pride myself at making food that Hubs loves...by finding the simplest recipes that require the least ingredients.
