Info Post
Oh yes, we did.

You'd bury your pool too if it was A) already 30 years old and B) a freak wind storm caused a paver to break free from its cover-holding duties and successfully rip a hole in the liner the entire depth of the deep end. So long thousands of gallons of water.

Best decision that Mother Nature ever made for us. Even so, my 95-degree weather sweating self thinks I'm a lunatic (as do most of our friends), but we do have the luxury of air conditioning so it's really not so bad. Oh sure, ten years down the road S probably won't be on speaking terms with us if she finds out we willingly buried that pool, but that's why we've got neighbors with pools. No questions asked.

S loves it and it's just big enough for me to get in there with her. Wonderfully relaxing, I know. Dallas wasn't too sure why we were playing in a big water bowl. And apparently S is quite okay with showing a little butt cheek.
