Well, you're here again and this week I'm excited. We aren't traveling anywhere this weekend...which means home-made pizza tonight, coffee in the morning with Hubs tomorrow, and dressing up S for church on Sunday. Cheers to a wonderful weekend!
1. My first legit Mother's Day. As in this year, baby is on the outside. Last year I was just four months pregnant, but my sweet husband made my first Mother's Day feel very real. By sending me this email...

Hi Mommy!
I want to say, "Happy First Mother's Day". I know that Daddy will take care of you today so you can enjoy. Know that I am just hanging around, waiting on some food and water. I won't ask for much now, but, maybe some ice cream later would be great. THANKS!!!
The Baby
2. Being the mommy to an adorable, happy, crazy baby girl. From the day she was born, my entire life and my entire self has changed. For the first time I feel like I'm doing what I was called to do, to be a mom. And she is mine forever. This little being who we were given by God to shape and mold. I wouldn't trade this life that God has given me for anything.
3. The playdate S had with baby Ty last weekend. Just one of the many men she has to pick from in 15 years...or 20. Seriously, all babies born within a few months of her (friends' babies, church babies, neighborhood babies) decided to be boys. To the chagrin of her daddy.
4. My mother-in-law. I'm lucky that my husband's family is pretty amazing and very willing to help out and make me feel at home here in NY. If my MIL wasn't the wonderful person she is, I probably would have been on the next bus to PA months ago. She watches S when I take Dallas to "school" and has helped Hubs and I out multiple times with things we needed for our house, for S, and even for the Pups. Thank you.
5. My mom. I couldn't do life without you. I love you. (You'll catch what I have to say to her in my special Sunday post.)
