- Vowing each morning that I will drink my cup of decaf coffee before noon. It never happens. Even if I have no plans and I'm not going anywhere that day. I blame my laptop and the internet.
- Still wearing my maternity leggings from time to time. You know, the ones with the belly band and all. Not only do they suck in the slight pooch that I still have, but they are amazingly comfortable. Hey, no one else needs to know.
- The gutter guy finally calls me back and of course I don't hear my phone ring and so he leaves a message. He says he couldn't make out my name on the message I left him...but it "sounds like your name is Ken". I really, really hope that my voice doesn't sound like a man's.
Awesome
- Weather and 60-degree temps that allow for the windows to be open. Reminds me of growing up...in the springtime, when we could wear our summer pajamas but before it was hot enough that Dad had to put the air conditioners in the windows.
- Also that open windows means no heat, no AC, and no money being added onto our electric bill.
- The way S takes a break for a few seconds while she's nursing and just looks up at me with big blue eyes filled with wonder. Seeming to say, "thanks mom, I love you".
- Plastic stacking cups that cost me $4. They're a hit with the six- and seven-month-old crowd. Genious.
