I wish we could be together today (and every day for that matter), but you know that I am always thinking of you in my heart. Always planning our next visit in my mind. I love how our relationship has transformed over the years into what it is today. You are my best friend. I know that I can come to you with anything that is on my mind and you will listen and understand, and give your advice. And now that I have little S, I appreciate all you've ever done for me a hundred times more. I understand now how a mother's heart feels for her child and I'm sorry for ever treating you badly (ahem...high school). I am so excited for the future and spending days with you and watching you love our little ones. Espeically this summer we have ahead of us!
You are the best grandma to S and she loves you! I can see it in her eyes when she first sees you again, no matter how long it has been since our last visit. We have so many fun days and memories in our future together. I could not ask for a better mom, a better friend, a better person to tell me like it is. You made me into the mom that I am today and the mom that I hope to be in the future.
