livin' it up with the fam. Labor Day style.

Me, Hubs, and Baby S spent the holiday weekend visiting my parents and my sister in Pennsylvania. For me, it was a much-needed time away from my usual loads of laundry and trying (and failing) to keep the house clean. Didn't stay away from my blog though, to the dismay of my husband -- but lucky for you guys!

I got some amazingly good deals shopping the Labor Day sales,
ate tons of my aunts' famous potato salad and dessert,
celebrated my sister landing her first ever job,
finally watched The Hunger Games (I have an obsession),
dug through boxes in the storage room for toys for S to play with (jackpot: My Little Ponies and Glow Bugs),
and spent every morning with my mom and sister and bottomless cups of coffee.
Perfection.

Seeing how happy my parents are when they're spending time with their granddaughter is priceless. S loves her Grammy and Paw-Paw! Like always, the trip was a hundred days too short, but we made some fabulous memories. Here's to hoping you all did some great memory-making over the weekend too!
