Info Post

Last weekend (yes, as in I didn't get around to posting this for almost a week. this blog's had growing pains recently) we threw a surprise party for my mother-in-law's birthday. Her 55th, to be exact :) Lots of family, friends, food, and grandkids living it up on the dance floor. Which may or may not have displayed a little girl running around in her walker. Some things I've learned about party planning:

One, it takes a lot (of time, effort, stress, money) to plan a good party.

Two, all of those things are a million times worth it when the party arrives and it's a huge ball of fun and success.

Three, invest in a good camera. One that can actually take decent photos. I have not yet done this. Sorry about the graininess/red eye folks!

Four, nothing is better than seeing the look on a person's face when they are 100% totally surprised.
Seriously. She had NO idea.
