This past weekend, the rose bushes in our backyard were just begging to have their pictures taken. And rightly so, seeing as we do not have ANY other flowers gracing our property. Now, I don't know too much about roses, except that they need to be treated for some kind of mold
and they need to be cut back at the end of the summer. Or if you have a dog who likes to chew off the branches instead, you can do that. Strange, I know. But then, Dallas IS quite an unusual dog. Which is why he fits right into our family.
Anyway, whatever we did last fall, whether it be cutting or letting Dallas have his way with the branches, it worked wonders. So S and I decided to have us a rosy little photoshoot.
I've recently become obbbsessed with Picmonkey, if you could't tell.
A BIG thank you to the previous owners of our house who planted those rose bushes and diligently took care of them and loved them so our family can enjoy them every summer. That is, until S is old enough to go after those thorns. I'm sure they'll still look lovely behind a wire fence, right?
