Welcome to Nugget On A Budget's Bloggy Friends Week!
This week I'm in Arizona with Hubs and Baby Girl for our friend's wedding {having a fabulous time!}. I've rounded up a few of my bloggy besties and two other awesome ladies to guest post on here while I'm gone.
I hope you enjoy getting to know these lovelies as much as I did!
I've known Sara since the beginning of my blogging mama days, so I consider her another of my bffs. She's called mommy by a toddler boy who seriously cannot get any cuter. On her blog, you'll find a little bit of everything--and my favorite thing about Sara is that she tells life like it is.

I am SO honored that Kera is letting me write a guest post for her blog. This is my first guest post and it makes sense that it would be for one of my first bloggy friends. My name is Sara and I blog over at Confessions of a Redheaded Mama. I blog about my life to a crazy three year old boy I call Little Bear and life with my Hubby.
I'm going to share my love story. First, I need to preface by saying I'm totally not gushy and I don't think we have a great love story. However, I'm also super nosy on how people met so I thought I would share some of the details.
Tommy and I went to the same small college. We hung out at the same bars and yet somehow we never ran into each other. My Senior year (Tommy is a year younger) I was busy with my internship (30 hours a week) plus a full semester of classes and being President of my sorority. Meanwhile, Tommy moved home and commuted for one semester and then he went to study abroad in Ireland.
It wasn't until after I graduated that we met through a mutual friend. I don't even remember much of the convo besides we talked about music and had a lot of favorite bands in common. This led to us talking about concerts that we were going to. Six or seven months later I saw Tommy at a concert. I may have had a few drinks and I may have given him my phone number (though it was the wrong number....like i said i may have had too many drinks). A couple of days later we started talking on AIM (does anyone still use that?).
After Tommy graduated he got a job in the city about 10 blocks from my office. We met up for lunch a couple of times, but were just friends. We went for happy hour on Friday, but still were just friends. During, this time he liked/dated other girls and I had a crush on another guy. I think the fact that we were friends for 7 months made us really get to know each other.
Through this friendship period I liked hanging out with him, talking to him on the phone, chatting on AIM and emailing him at work throughout the day. Yet somehow neither one of us made the first move. It finally took my best friend to open my eyes and realize I may like him more than a friend.
We had met up with Tommy and his friend before a concert. It was only the second time my best friend and Tommy had met. They seemed to hit it off well and I felt kind of left out and jealous. When she gave him her screenname I wanted to punch her, but in reality it was all innocent and not a big deal. That was the turning point in my friendship with Tommy.
Shortly after we started dating and before I knew it we were engaged. I'm so glad that Tommy and I had that time to be friends and to get to know each other. I think we went into our relationship with such a strong friendship that it just made things work.
