Info Post

Or go to the crazy house. Checked myself in over the weekend.
Never in my life did I expect planning, putting together, and pulling off my child's first birthday bash would be such a pain in the arse.
My mother-in-law put this experience into the perfect quote:
"It's probably easier giving birth."
I think it actually was. And I gave birth to S without any medication.

But now as I finally get the chance to sit down with a cup of coffee and look over all the photos from her special day, I have to say that driving myself insane was worth it. Sorta like how you forget all that horrific pain of having a baby once baby's safe and warm in your arms.
I know. Famous last words.
But all you other super mamas out there can relate, right?

But seriously. Just look at that little nugget of a face.
And her tutu {you can see the DIY tutorial on my sister's blog, here}.
How presh?

I mean we had a bouncy house, people. Kid heaven.
And a keg. {Necessary for a baby's party? Mehhh...in our family, yes. Blamin' that on the Hubs too.} Grown-up heaven.
Dallas was even allowed to stay outside and gobble up every piece of food to hit the ground. Doggy heaven.
And of course S getting to tackle that banana cake all by herself. She loved it.

So the little crazy one and I just want to say thanks to all of you who left comments or tweets wishing her a happy first birthday party weekend.
We all had a fabulous day and {even in my unstable mental state} the party was a hit. :)
